About this artwork
Wings symbolize freedom and transformation which I also express by the graduation of shades present in the work. This wing expresses my personal path as a human being that believes in her abilities and work's value. These wings were already inside me, but I didn't know it, I just needed to try to fly! As materials I've used pure (lambs) wool and mixed yarns, all from local Florentine factories. The textile techniques applied for its creation are…
