The perception of the green of the trees between which a surface of water shimmers is the theme of this
The image. Using sketches I had already made in Sweden and watercolors, I found shapes for the different tree species. On the canvas, I then combined them like various mementos to create a fictional yet realistic landscape. I transferred the perception of openness and tranquility, which were an important foundation for a relaxing vacation, to… the canvas, thus enabling me to convey them in the best possible way.
