Narcissus reflects on self-recognition—
not as vanity, but as acceptance.
A single flower rises gently from a reflective surface —
not to admire itself, but to encounter its own presence.
The reflection is soft and shifting, never exact,
suggesting that what we see is not always what is true.
Through embroidery, I translate something delicate and fleeting into a physical form.
The threads build the body slowly, holding both fragility and persistence… at once.
This work is not about vanity, but about the moment of looking —
and the quiet acceptance of what is seen.
It invites the viewer to pause,
and to consider what it means to truly face oneself.
