About this artwork
RED from the series Crucified or just blocked. The artist plays with the colors RED and LILAC around the black and white portrait of a beautiful woman, which is painted with acrylic paints and brushes on canvas. Her portraits in this series appear almost photorealistic. She connects faces with graphic elements and deliberately places colored bars over her portraits.
The artist deals with the position of women in today's society and asks herself… and the viewer the question: Strong and beautiful women: crucified or just blocked?

« The more curious we are, the more creative we become »
My work explores the tension between identity, body, concealment, and transformation.
I don't understand painting as a representation, but as a space for inner movement. As a place where that which cannot be captured becomes visible.
I work in series that develop organically during the process, not from pre-existing concepts. Material plays a central role: acrylic, texture, gold leaf, platinum, and mixed media are not merely decorative elements, but carriers of meaning.
Concealment is not a retreat. It is a deliberate act. It creates distance, protection, and a new way of reading.
Faces and bodies do not appear as surfaces for identification, but rather as spaces for projection. I understand identity not as a state, but as a process, characterized by the tension between visibility and withdrawal.
