'cadillac mountain top ~ misty fragments ~ midnight moon ~ light my path'
This abstract painting was created from a hike to the top of Cadillac Mountain in Maine, expecting to experience unbelievable display of stars. Instead, something far more profound revealed itself in the dense fog and intense moon creating the subtlest of light, just barely enough to light the path underfoot.
This multi-media painting is on 100% cotton rag paper and mounted… to a custom birch wooden cradle board with wire hangers in place. Sides of the cradle board are painted in dark mica grey.
