About this artwork
In creating this artwork, I explored the misty nature of a main landscape. Utilizing acrylics and colored pencils, I embraced the essence of impressionism and minimalism, weaving soft grays with bursts of muted pinks and deep blacks. The process of this painting has inspired its full title, the haiku "Between pauses you will feel the subtle thoughts of being thought silent". Each misty mark is a paused reflection on life's fleeting moments and lasting…
echoes. This piece encourages a pause and moment of silence.
This multi-media painting is on 100% cotton rag paper and mounted to a custom birch wooden cradle board with wire hangers in place. Sides of the cradle board are painted in dark mica grey. Created between 2016 & 2019
