About this artwork
In this painting, I aimed to capture fleeting moments of passion and serenity through pink and bits of silver material and infinity marks. The use of acrylic and pen and crayon allowed me to shift energy and emotions, creating a sense of calm and intensity, encouraging a sense of traveling to realms beyond the everyday. The haiku inspired by these marks and colors is "there are always glitters of hope ~ deep warmth deep within ~ look for it ~ feel"…
This multi-media painting is on 100% cotton rag paper and mounted to a custom birch wooden cradle board with wire hangers in place. Sides of the cradle board are painted in dark mica grey.
