About this artwork
The image "Blue Horizon" is part of a series in which I explore the boundaries and tensions between mental and real space: How do these spaces interact when we look at a landscape photograph, a screen, or go into nature? The image is a reference to the power of nature: Large clouds pile up on the horizon, along with a white strip and shimmering turquoise water.
A moment is captured in which a ray of light falls on the water.
Here too, the horizon… is the place of longing, which, however, is never reached.

The artist grew up in Lugano, in a multilingual, art-filled environment.
Although she initially worked as a conference interpreter after her studies in Geneva, her passion for art never left her. The mother of three sons eventually devoted herself entirely to her passion, continuing her studies at summer academies and working tirelessly. Since 2017, she has exhibited regularly in Hamburg and is represented by the Visulex Gallery for Photography in Hamburg.
