About this artwork
Through a half-open window, one's gaze falls upon a field strewn with glistening dewdrops. In the distance, a mountain range rises; light filters from the clouds onto the field and the windowsill, where a stack of Bibles rests.
A landscape is never a finished entity; it is in constant flux. Within our own lifetime, we cannot comprehend its creation and decay. This work serves as a reminder that time is the only constant in our lives.
The viewer… looks through the window into this desert, promisingly strewn with dewdrops; it will bloom through water.
At the same time, the viewer senses a longing for a vast space where one can find oneself, where inner messages can be heard again. The myth of the desert is omnipresent here.
The photograph of the window was taken in the garden - Winston Churchill's children's house.

The artist grew up in Lugano, in a multilingual, art-filled environment.
Although she initially worked as a conference interpreter after her studies in Geneva, her passion for art never left her. The mother of three sons eventually devoted herself entirely to her passion, continuing her studies at summer academies and working tirelessly. Since 2017, she has exhibited regularly in Hamburg and is represented by the Visulex Gallery for Photography in Hamburg.
Although she initially worked as a conference interpreter after her studies in Geneva, her passion for art never left her. The mother of three sons eventually devoted herself entirely to her passion, continuing her studies at summer academies and working tirelessly.
