About this artwork
The view extends from an open window. On the windowsill sits a glass of water and next to it an open book – a symbol of peace and everyday life. Outside, a large, turquoise wave rises, seemingly about to spill into the room.
At first glance, the image evokes memories of holidays, sunshine, and carefree days. But the glittering wave carries a second meaning: it symbolizes the power and threat of water, climate change, and the fragile balance between… humanity and nature. Beauty and danger, longing and warning lie close together here.

The artist grew up in Lugano, in a multilingual, art-filled environment.
Although she initially worked as a conference interpreter after her studies in Geneva, her passion for art never left her. The mother of three sons eventually devoted herself entirely to her passion, continuing her studies at summer academies and working tirelessly. Since 2017, she has exhibited regularly in Hamburg and is represented by the Visulex Gallery for Photography in Hamburg.
