About this artwork
It is a painting from the series "Return of Peter Pan" . I dedicated the series to Puppets.
In this work "Catch me if you can" the puppets are in the possession of a secret, unreachable for people without imagination. The action takes outdoors, in the forest. The puppets, appearing into view from behind the black tree trunks cloaked in the darkness of the evening, for someone they are scary and sinister for others they are the unknown answers of… our darkerst secrets.
They are waiting for me but at the same time they don't want me to take liberties with them.
