The darker, richer layers of color on an olive-green background appear heavy, almost resistant, as if multiple layers of history were superimposed. Lines and lettering are more deeply interwoven, overlapping, partially enclosed—communication is not established here, but negotiated. The calligraphic elements are reminiscent of urban codes, of signs that only initiates can read. Legibility is deliberately blocked to open space for projection. In this intensification, the dialogue between control and loss of control, between order and improvised gesture, becomes apparent.
