Earthy reds and browns lie superimposed like exposed layers of soil, reminiscent of remnants of walls, fragments of asphalt, or archaeological cross-sections of a city. The calligraphic marks superimposed on top appear spontaneous and raw—like tags claiming their place without regard for legibility or order.
Here, meaning arises not through language, but through gesture. Writing… refuses translation and becomes a trace: a clue to communication that has taken place or is yet to take place. A tension arises between associations with nature and contemporary street art, which does not explain communication, but makes it tangible – as a search, as an approach, as an open dialogue.
