About this artwork
Inspiration was draw from a recent visit to a remote part of South Wales. The view in this image could be seen when stood on tip toe out of on of the windows. The light from ‘sunset hour’ , made a lasting impression.

Kay Bainbridge is a British figurative painter based in London. She has always had the ambition to paint from as early as the age of three, where she began to paint at nursery, experimenting with different combinations of colours. Following her MA in Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University, she has embarked on a career as an artist.
