About this artwork
This work depicts a seemingly ordinary, almost casual portrait—a woman with a cigarette, out of focus but palpably alive. The smile, the gesture, the gaze: all of this remains in motion, transfixed by blur and the shifting light. Instead of revealing details, the image invites the viewer to immerse themselves in an emotional atmosphere.
"Seer" refers to more than the visible motif. It is about inner recognition, about presence in a… fleeting moment. The work oscillates between closeness and distance, intimacy and anonymity. The person is not clearly identifiable—and therein lies its strength.
As part of the series "Form in Flow – Perception in Transition," this image represents the fragmentary nature of human perception: memory, projection, emotion. It invites us to discover the hidden within the seemingly visible.
A picture that doesn’t show, but suggests – and that is precisely why it touches.
