About this artwork
This artwork conveys a playful and bold energy, with its stylized black dachshund standing out sharply against a vibrant red background. I wanted to express freedom and eccentricity, blending pop symbols with eye-catching graphic touches. It will bring a dynamic and characterful touch to your interior, evoking a world that is both joyful and mysterious.

Credentials

Ophélie Simonet, also known as KOA, is a self-taught painter born in 1987 in La Rochelle, France. Inspired by pop culture, 90s nostalgia, and her synesthesia, she favors a neo-pop, graphic, minimalist, and colorful style, celebrating the childlike nature of art while challenging academic conventions. Through a playful and unconventional energy, her works radiate good vibes and invite us to rediscover the audacity of simplicity, awakening the child within each of us and instilling contagious joy.
