About this artwork
The BORINT sculpture was made of resin, the basis is wood patinated in white. This sculpture is the interpretation of a man in motion who holds something in his hands. Creating this character I tried to make a metamorphosis of individual parts of the human body to give the character a dynamic and strong character.

Konrad Ziolkowski is a Polish sculptor working primarily in stone, bronze, and mixed media, carrying on his family's sculptural heritage and academic training from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts. He employs a synthesis of traditional and contemporary techniques, combining the endurance of stone with the expressive potential of bronze and elements like glass and light, crafting simplified, symbolic forms and integrating original texts with each piece. His sculptures evoke deep introspection, inviting viewers into a personal, emotional dialogue that resonates with memory, tenderness, and the poignant ambiguity of human experience.
