About this artwork
Here is a succession of lines made with dexterity in the pen which must be simple and precise. By suddenly pressing on the pen, it deviates and deposits a drop of ink which causes a break in the line and encourages the direction of the drawing to be changed. In this way, a multitude of interconnected shapes are born, following or deepening each other and creating solids and voids.
Here, the lines intertwine and form a kind of surreal bulb formed… by chance during the construction of the drawing, in a real desire for extreme simplicity.

Her favorite themes pertain to nature, as well as the place of humanity in nature. LABB expresses these topics through the depiction of veins, roots, vines, and entanglements in order to reflect on our ties, hindrances, dependencies, servitudes, and isolations. She primarily creates using oils on canvas.
