About this artwork
This canvas, with its simple composition at first glance, with its relatively dark dominant tones of brown, black and gray, is deceptive. While basic at first glance, it reveals itself to be complex in its pictorial treatment when examined closely, with numerous intentions of relief, optical effects and vibrations created by subtle nuances between background and form and oblique movements in zones.
