About this artwork
In DRIFT, I wanted to create a sense of emotional movement suspended between intensity and calm. The deep red and luminous blue interact like opposing currents, generating a quiet tension that feels both expansive and intimate.
My process is intuitive and instinctive, allowing layers, textures, and subtle marks to emerge naturally over time. Rather than guiding the composition toward a fixed meaning, I allow the painting to evolve through emotional… resonance, gesture, and material presence.
Through this work, I invite the viewer into a contemplative space shaped by transition, perception, and inner fluidity. Conceived without a fixed orientation, the painting encourages a personal and intuitive interaction with the composition.
