When we arrived early in the morning at the summit of the iconic Mount Athabasca in the Canadian Rockies, I was immediately captivated by the vast expanse of mountains, sculpted from ancient seabeds millions of years ago. My focus soon shifted to the intricate snow patterns and rugged textures of the Saskatchewan Glacier. This transformation of perspective filled me with gratitude for the opportunity to witness the glacier in all its majesty before…
