About this artwork
“Bluebell Meadow" is part of my Magic of Meadow series, where I paint quiet, enchanted corners of nature that feel like hidden sanctuaries. This piece captures a fleeting spring moment when an ordinary field transforms into a soft carpet of blue and violet, as if the earth itself were casting a gentle spell.
I wanted to paint not only the bluebells and purple clover, but also the air around them — the trembling light in the grass, a whisper of wind,… and the calm of standing alone in the meadow. Cool blues and greens meet warmer, sunlit tones, reflecting the balance between stillness and vitality that I find in nature. "Bluebell Meadow" is an invitation to pause, breathe, and step into a moment of quiet wonder.

Leldé BRAKE-KLAVERI is a professional artist from Latvia. She graduated from the Latvian Academy of Fine Arts and also studied at AKI (Netherlands). Her works have been exhibited in Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, the Netherlands, France, Germany, and Spain. In 2021, she received a diploma from the USA Online Art Gallery as a winner of the "Landscape 2025" competition and was awarded a prize at the International Jury Art Competition in Malaysia.
Leldé primarily works by combining painting techniques with graphic elements using manual screen printing. His work often revisits themes of the duality of the world and the interaction of opposites (day/night, man/woman, nature/urbanization). Nature, filtered through his imagination and personal values, is frequently his source of inspiration.
