About this artwork
second work of the series. this work, compared to the first, begins to be less didactic and the landscape represented begins to become geometric, visionary. A desert terrain on which a mountain stands alone, the tip of which is reflected in a kind of lake adjacent to it. beyond the mountain, it is all geometric, a whole set of lines that delimit the colors. Here the landscape slowly becomes a set of lines, of references that tend towards abstraction.… The work is on a wooden support on which the artist has painted with water-based enamels. The mountain is carved from a cut sheet of rusty iron.
« I am a serial accumulator. From time to time, the objects and materials I collect call me. It is time to start working. »
