About this artwork
this work, in the wake of the previous ones, is based on the reworking of an ancient photographic image of a man whose identity the artist was unable to discover. For this reason he created a new one. In this work, made on two separate wooden panels, the artist depicted a man whose identity is hidden by a sort of white graffiti, representing the line of time whose passage erases the memory of people. At the same time it is immersed in a liquid representing… the theories of the "memory of water" according to which, a body immersed in a liquid leaves a memory of its properties. This work therefore represents the passage of time and the hope we all have to fight it with memory.
« I am a serial accumulator. From time to time, the objects and materials I collect call me. It is time to start working. »
