About this artwork
In my work I express the joy and energy of dance through vibrant movements and bright colors. I used acrylic, oil, gouache and tempera to capture the effervescent essence of the Can-can dancers, their connection and their unique expression. Each brushstroke is designed to instill an atmosphere of celebration and freedom, reflecting the dynamism and passion of the can-can dance. This work is a hymn to the celebration of life and femininity, an element… that would bring energy and liveliness to any environment in which it is placed.
Len Vernaghi, originally from Porrentruy but deeply rooted in Italy, is a multidisciplinary person: painter, photographer, designer, textile artist, engraver, sculptor. He stands out for his portable fresco technique, combining traditional pigments with alternative solutions, and uniting contrasting themes and styles. Her works reveal a powerful socio-political commitment, giving voice to frugality, nature, femininity and marginal places, with an atmosphere of wonder derived from her dreamlike subjects.
