About this artwork
This is an abstract artwork in watercolors, inks and acrylics on paper. I use bright, saturated colors such as teal, aqua, tawny reds and oranges, purples and pinks to create backgrounds in washes and, afterwards, adding detail in yellow, red and black.

Leo Kogan is an award-winning painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in the Netherlands whose works have been exhibited nationally. Since he believes that the creative process is mostly intuitive, he takes care not to conceptualize his art, which he sees as counter-intuitive.
