About this artwork
In this painting I wanted to pay homage to the fascinating hero of Gotham City, Batman.
Capturing the silent and intense soul of a hero in the rain. Since it's on a black surface, I used acrylic, ink, and white pencil to bring the drops and reflections to life, creating an atmosphere of mystery and strength. Every detail is designed to convey determination and solitude, lending energy and depth to any space. This work is an invitation to observe… the hidden strength even in the darkest moments.
This work is part of a series of paintings I created using video, filming the entire creative process from start to finish, non-stop, and therefore without pauses. The video was then sped up to create a short clip where you can admire the final result appearing as if by magic. You can view the time-lapse video in the video section, and the source video file is included with the work at no additional cost.
