About this artwork
In this painting done with markers I liked to reproduce the fascinating reflections and shadows of the golden metallic material of the Twix packaging... inspired by the Pop Art realism of the 60s and 70s.
This work is part of a series of paintings I created using video, filming the entire creative process from start to finish, non-stop, and therefore without pauses. The video was then sped up to create a short clip where you can admire the final… result appearing as if by magic... These videos accompany the painting at no additional cost.
In my paintings I use different media/techniques, for this series I used markers, one of the most difficult techniques for creating photorealistic paintings.
