About this artwork
This is "Cat-3", the contemplative third chapter in my ink on paper series about my large, luxurious black cat. Captured here from behind in a curled pose, he looks upon delicate botanical elements, which represent whispers from my magical universe.
Intertwining sumi-e style with my roots in ethno-surrealism and fantastic realism, this work showcases meticulous fine detail lining. This co-signed and dated (2023) original reimagines contemporary… graphics through magic realism. Following Cat-1 and Cat-2, this piece completes a multi-layered narrative of the cat's spirit. It is an exclusive decor for a luxury interior and a unique gift.
