About this artwork
In crafting this digital piece, my passion weaved through every pixel, in a symphony of fine art, pop, and expressionism. Each stroke embodies a vibrant dance of color and texture, leaving a bold, resonant echo of emotions. It's a visual melody that celebrates iconic imagery with a contemporary twist, meant to invigorate your space with an exhilarating energy.

« I follow my heart, passions, and observations. The only challenge is being true to myself and my creation. It’s all about expressing myself in the moment. »
Liam Downes is an experienced artist based in New Zealand whose paintings have been exhibited internationally. He describes his works as often depicting the world around him, ranging from landscapes to cityscapes, life drawings, and social commentary. While identifying with expressionism, Downes' distinctive compositions are also imbued with a variety of styles. He primarily creates with acrylics, ink, and collage on canvas or wood.
