Linnea loves to travel and Maui used to be a big destination when it was winter in the Northeast. This is a likeness of Lahaina, Maui. The famous banyan tree is the main focus. This silk is gallery wrapped and ready to hang. She first draws first with resist and then paints with special silk, fabric paint.

Linnea Pergola is an experimented painter and textile artist based now in South Africa, whose works have been exhibited nationally in the United States, as well as in Switzerland, Germany, Puerto Rico, and Qatar. Her love of nature is apparent in her diverse compositions, as she often portrays both animals and birds. As such, Pergola is an advocate for animal rights and the unjust treatment of animals.
