About this artwork
This sculpture is a meeting between the deep time of the earth and the history of human work. At the center of the composition stands an ancient iron tool from the late 1800s, a tool once indispensable for sharpening agricultural sickles. This tool, which bears the signs of an era of toil and dedication, is flanked by two stones, found by chance, which guard a thousand-year-old secret. evident, an indelible trace of past life, almost a "signature" of nature that authenticates the content of the work. The iron tool, positioned centrally, creates a suggestive division, almost as if it wanted to open the stones like an ancient book. At the same time, it supports and exposes them, inviting the viewer to a deep "reading", a dialogue between the memory of the earth and the history of work. The work is a bridge between different eras in the contemporaneity of the artistic act.
