Great Alpine Road reflects my fascination with the quiet poetry of the Australian landscape. Inspired by a journey on the alpine road, from Harrietville to Mount Hotham in Victoria. The work combines imagined flora, drifting light and native currawongs to evoke a sense of stillness, memory and wonder.
