About this artwork
This is the third in a series. It's textured mixed-media draws it's quiet, reverent inspiration from the prophetic visions in the book of Ezekiel—particularly his encounter with the radiant glory of God in the opening chapters. Ezekiel witnessed a profound, symbolic representation of God’s sovereignty, mobility, and enduring presence, even in exile.
This work reflects that tension—between displacement and divine nearness, between chaos and cosmic… order. Through layered textures and abstract forms, Ezekiel’s Vision echoes the otherworldly elements of Ezekiel’s vision. The piece suggests movement and mystery, something holy threading its way through even the most unfamiliar terrain.
Created as a response to deep personal study, Ezekiel’s Vision doesn’t aim to illustrate Ezekiel’s vision literally. Instead, it seeks to embody its emotional and spiritual awe, judgment, and hope converge. It is a visual meditation on the truth that God’s presence is not confined to temples.
Lisa Perkins is a contemporary artist whose work is rooted in a faith-forward perspective, exploring the intersection of spirituality, healing, and human experience. Through layered textures, softened tones, and intentional restraint, her pieces reflect the beauty of restoration, grace, and the quiet movement of God—inviting viewers to pause and encounter the sacred in stillness.
Her approach embraces organic minimalism, where tactile depth and subtle complexity create both emotional and spiritual resonance. Inspired by scripture, worship, and personal testimony, her work reflects themes of renewal, surrender, and divine presence.
Lisa collaborates with interior designers, architects, and hospitality brands to create bespoke artwork that enhances atmosphere and elevates the human experience. Her work is especially suited for spaces that value peace, reflection, and intentional beauty.
