This is my beloved companion. I wanted to paint more than just a likeness; I wanted to capture the sheer intensity of their focus. Here they sit, perched right at the window, completely mesmerized by the world outside. I spent hours carefully rendering the texture of their fur, layering the rich browns, blacks, and creams of their tabby coat to match the softness I know so well. But the true heart of this piece lies in the eyes. I painted those wide,…
