Louise de Gastines, inspired since childhood by volume, light, and color, sculpts stoneware by hand and contrasts her work with bare earth with a personalized palette of vitrified enamels that characterize her training as a colorist. Her models, both classical and surreal, combine the human and the animal, the beautiful and the strange, and play on the border between the real and the unreal.
