Luben Boykov, an award-winning draftsman and sculptor based in Italy, has had his works exhibited nationally, as well as in Canada, the United States, Bulgaria, and Germany. He sees his work as a small link in the long tradition of sculptural object making, 'a practice that uses the language of plasticity in the creation of forms, capable of storing and radiating spiritual energy'. Boykov's sculptures are influenced by the organic forms that surround him in his everyday rural life.
