Summer Quartet began with four real Gerbera specimens whose colour felt almost impossible to believe was natural. What drew us was not only their vibrancy, but the quiet tension created when separate blooms begin to feel like a single presence.
Captured through our ultra-high-resolution scannography process, every petal, filament, and tonal transition is preserved with extraordinary clarity—revealing structure, depth, and saturation often missed… in everyday life.
Designed for two ways of seeing: a bold presence from across the room, and an immersive world of detail revealed up close.

Botanica Lumen is the collaborative studio of Anna Surdacka and Luis Fernandez, bringing together botanical artistry, optical imaging, and material precision. Anna’s instinct for living form and natural composition meets Luis’s background in optics, physics, and ultra-high-resolution imaging, shaped through years developing industrial scanning systems.
Together, they created an original scannographic practice that captures real botanical specimens with extraordinary clarity, tonal depth, and presence.
