About this artwork
This painting was created in 2020. At the time, I wanted to convey a passionate, burning energy within a sensory world that takes the form of a kind of landscape.
I was deeply fascinated by the sense of reality inherent in materiality, and I wanted to draw the viewer in with an intensity—something closer to the experience of watching an action film or a powerful, dramatic scene.
