About this artwork

The sculpture was made with inner self-love in mind. It is meant to symbolize the higher feelings we all desire. It was made with the intention of attracting love, peace, harmony and inner balance. Pink is the color of love, friendship and warmth. It is a symbol of multidimensional happiness.

The sculpture was made of naturally colored arranged banana bark
in the shape of a human back in a scale of 1: 1.

For this work, the model was a cast
my own… body.

Banana bark with its natural,
fabric weaves was the perfect material for me
to reflect the complex structure of the human structure - interpenetrating
each other's physicality, spirituality and intellect.
