About this artwork
This work explores time, memory, and what remains visible beneath the surface. Through multi-layered structures and restrained shades of gray, stone, and earth, a surface emerges that evokes weathered walls, exposed strata, or fragmented landscapes.
Cracks, overlaps, and dense areas appear as traces of a slow process – nothing is abrupt, everything seems to have grown organically. The horizontal accent in the upper area lends the image a quiet tension… and opens a space between abstraction and association.
The work invites the viewer to approach and discover details, but also to step back and allow its quiet overall effect to wash over them. It doesn't tell a concrete story, but rather leaves room for personal projections and inner images.
