About this artwork
This is the view from my studio across the open fields to the hill in the West where the sun sets in mid summer. Where I live and work in County Armagh in Northern Ireland is surrounded by a countryside of small fields of grass bounded by hawthorn hedges and I love to depict the gentle vistas of this green land.
