Gilded Drift is part of the Gilded Erosion series and embodies a moment of silent movement – a hovering between dissolution and form.
Delicate, pale violet areas form the backdrop for golden structures that spread across the surface like organic fragments. Unlike in other works in the series, the gold here appears less eruptive and more subdued – as if it were slowly drifting, shifting, rearranging itself.
The composition… unfolds a subtle balance between stillness and change. The golden textures appear like traces of a process that is not abrupt, but continuous – quiet, almost meditative.
