About this artwork
This painting is a celebration of abundance, light, and harmony. I wanted to create more than just a still life — I aimed to build a radiant mosaic of energy. The glass, fruit, and birds are not simply objects — they are symbols of fragile balance, joy, and spiritual nourishment. The fragmented background reflects the complexity of life, where every piece matters, and color becomes emotion. I love working with geometry and light to create rhythm,… and this work is one of those moments when everything flows naturally — the composition, the mood, the meaning. It’s a quiet, joyful offering to the viewer — a reminder of the beauty we often overlook.
Maksym Stasiuk is a Ukrainian painter, illustrator, and printmaker born in Zhytomyr, Ukraine. For over 20 years, he illustrated hundreds of children’s books, working in both digital and traditional techniques. Recently, he returned to his first passion — painting. Maksym works with watercolour, acrylic, and graphic techniques, exploring themes of memory, transformation, and emotional depth. Since relocating near Lviv with his wife and two children, he has focused on developing his own artistic voice. Art is a shared path in the Stasiuk family: his wife and daughter are also artists, and their life together is built around creativity and meaning.
