In this work, I seek to capture that fragile moment where nature and artistic creation meet and merge. The flowering branches traverse the pictorial space as if escaping from the canvas, blurring the boundary between reality and representation.
The scene is built upon an intimate atmosphere: the soft light filtering through the window, the brushes at rest, and the easel holding a painting that seems to come alive. The butterflies and the bird function… as symbols of transformation and lightness, lending movement to a composition frozen in time.
I work with layers of oil paint to create depth and transparency, especially in the blue background, evoking a sense of air and calm. The flowers, in contrast, are treated with greater detail and delicacy, seeking to convey their ephemeral nature.
