Still on this theme of diverted grids, it is this time at night that we escape!
On a background in shades of gold, black and dark brown, a grid is drawn. It becomes a pretext for large, bright, white and blue windows to open.
The rhythm and movement that animate the background are the result of a superposition of layers of paint, each of which has been rubbed and sanded. The goal is for each color to appear randomly.
The material and texture of… the large blue and white squares, which are more raw, also hint at this background. From the grid, only the rhythm and the soft architecture that structures the painting remain.
