About this artwork
The coarse-grained surface and the blue-greenish monochrome palette… cool the image; harsh contrasts make material and shadows cut across each other. There are no people, nor any clear traces. It is precisely this emptiness that makes the scene unsettling: a neutral scene becomes a projection surface. Nothing happens—and yet the feeling arises that something might have happened. The "crime scene" lies not in the image, but in the mind of the viewer.

He creates a poetic visual language interested in forms and structures, combining this with a modern, conceptual approach that claims social relevance. In his work, he explores inner and outer landscapes, conveying feelings of longing and threat, as well as a fascination with the hidden. He has published several art books (most recently "World of Water," 2025), which are represented in international academy and museum libraries (including Vienna, Basel, and Minneapolis).
