About this artwork
A stylized female bust, with clean, geometric forms, rises like a fragment suspended between body and architecture. The surface is dominated by shades of blue and light blue, with diagonal bands of color traversing the torso, creating a dialogue between solids and voids, between matter and light.
The work goes beyond an anatomical representation, transforming it into a dynamic sculptural structure, cut and reassembled with transparent spacers that… create an effect of suspension and lightness. The transparency of the supports becomes a symbol of a fragile, almost invisible balance, yet one that supports the entire figure.
On the colored bands, writings such as “FRAGILE BUT INDESTRUCTIBLE” emerge, transforming the bust into a visual manifesto of resilience: a body that bears within itself the sign of vulnerability, but which through it affirms its own strength.
