About this artwork
The paintings is inspired to by the symphony of Mussorgsky / Ravel "pictures at an exhibition" in particular the movement that describe the romantic melancholia of the old castle.
The symphony is a representation of a series of paintings that the autor saw in an exhibition, artist Marco Busoni reverse the process and painted the image that "the old castle" suggest him, the old ruin seems to be the perfect location for the melachonic mood of a musician… that think about his consuming love.

Marco Busoni is an Italian artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Spain and France. His first love remains the landscape, which he interprets through the lens of his contemporary impressionistic style. In addition to natural scenes, Busoni also creates figurative compositions that are more fantastical. Through his art, he endeavors to capture the wonder of the light that surrounds us through the "curious eyes of a child".
