About this artwork
In my painting "masked" I embody a figure who seems untouchable due to self-confidence and pride.
Naked, wearing only a silver chain, she emphasizes her self-confidence. Nevertheless, she hides or protects herself with her mask, which leaves her unrecognized.
The mask creates an anonymity that gives the figure a strong presence. All around her is just black and yet a radiant aura that is enhanced by the powerful contrasts and the enveloping line.

Marco is an established German artists living and working in Stutgart. Growing up in the small town of Selb, he was influenced early on by the local porcelain company Rosenthal. Fascinated by the art department and the co-creations with international artists such as Andy Warhol, Walter Gropius and Versace, it was precisely this creative world of art in which he saw his calling. His intention is to create a modern and timeless style that is characterised by simplicity and clarity.
